The IMPACT experience event is an intense yet stress free learning environment where participants can maximize their potential through hands-on adjustments with their rifle/optic. The elite instruction builds the confidence of the participants by instilling proven techniques. DAY 1: ARRIVAL
Arrival and welcome to FTW Ranch
Preliminary review and fitting of rifle/optic (Eye Relief/LOP)
Dinner with IMPACT and FTW Instructors (all meals)
Overview of range safety
Expectations and overview of upcoming days
Q&A with IMPACT and FTW Instructors
DAY 2: BUILD THE HOUSE
Elite FTW Staff Classroom Training
In depth discussion of rifles, optic and ballistic dynamics
Fitting – Fine tuning adjustments to LOP and Eye Relief to rifle/optic
Building The House – Training of SAAM principles on precision shooting
Confirming Zero and Truing – Participants will confirm zero at 100 yards achieving <1” MOA then validating DOPE card out to 700 yards
A Way – Review of “a way” for cleaning your rifle
Zero/Truing – Reconfirm zero/truing on clean/cold bore
Hands-on training at variety of yardages and elevation changes
Situational Shooting – Proper use of tripod, packs, trees and rocks
Post dinner open discussions with IMPACT and FTW Instructors
DAY 3: HAIR IN THE SCOPE
Classroom Training – Calling and understanding the effect of wind
Mastering Target Acquisition – Dialing vs Hold Over
Lunch with IMPACT and FTW Instructors
Ranch Drive Around Course – Realistic situational shooting scenarios dealing with varying wind and terrain elevation changes
Hair in The Scope – Friendly event pulling together last two days of training from Building The House, target acquisition, wind and elevation
Post dinner open discussions with IMPACT and FTW Instructors
DAY 4: DEPARTURE
Continental breakfast with IMPACT and FTW Instructors
Departure for San Antonio, TX (SAT) Airport
